THE HIGH PRAIRIE HISTORICAL SOCIETY meets quarterly to explore the rich and fascinating history that shaped our community. Each meeting features a presentation by members of the Society or invited guests. Countless hours of research has revealed the stories of the early settlers, the native inhabitants, and the landmarks of the Prairie.

Besides the Board of Directors, the Historical Society is composed of four standing committees: the Local History Committee, the Library Committee, the Curation Committee, and the Program Committee.
