Firefighters First Annual Light Parade December 19th & 20th
The Appleton and High Prairie Fire
Departments are combining this Christmas for their first annual
light parade. The parade will be on the evenings of the 19th and
20th of December along routes in both districts. Parades will start
at approximately 7:00 p.m. both evenings, will be along paved roads
for the most part and will be subject to weather conditions. Look
for maps of the routes in next weeks, paper. Santa (note: a well
known active HPNA member) and his helpers will be riding with the
fire fighters and will be handing out bags of candy to children
along the route. Parents are asked to have an adult with the children
who are along the route, to have a flashlight or car light to signal
the truck operators of the presence of children, and to keep safely
to the side of the road. More to come in next weeks paper.
