The 16th Annual High Prairie Firehouse Sale is Right Around the Corner!

This is High Prairie’s big event of the year, and it’s happening in just a couple of weeks.

The details are coming together – and High Prairie neighbors are coming together — to make the Firehouse Sale happen once again. In the next few weeks, the community center grounds will be transformed into a play-ground of bargains, treasures, food and fun.

The tents will go up soon, followed by busy days of sorting, displaying, and pricing the mountain of rummage sale donations. We’ll set up the Food Booth, put the finishing touches on the Silent Auction, and hang the beautiful raffle quilt. New for this year: a Show-and-Tell Car Show and a drawing for a Savage Bolt 17 HMR rifle.

Putting in this once-a-year intensive effort has really paid off for High Prairie:

~ Nearly $120,000 raised in 15 years, for the direct benefit of the community
~ Helped get new equipment & upgraded facilities for HP Fire District 14
~ Paid for completion, upkeep & operation of the HP Community Center
~ Funded many other community events, activities & programs

You won’t want to miss this one! Mark your calendar for May 15, 16 & 17 and come to the High Prairie Communty Center at 701 Struck Road.
