The space consists of a versatile 1,700 square foot open room with an attached kitchen and restroom facilities. The Community Center is handicap accessible. The legal maximum capacity is 186, although the space is more comfortable with smaller numbers, to avoid crowding.

    • Go east on SR-14 to Lyle and turn left between the gas station and the Country Cafe (red building). This is Centerville Hwy. Drive approx. 6.5 miles and look for Struck Road on the left. There is a sign pointing to the Community Center at the intersection. The Community Center is approx. 1 mile on Struck Road, on the left.

  1. Hey there, I’m wondering if the community gardens are available? My partner works for dirthugger and would be happy to bring in compost. He says it looks like it hasn’t been used in some time. I’m a big time gardener and I’m looking for more sunny place to grow!
    Thanks, Erin

  2. I’m from The Dalles and enjoy local history. I noticed an old white building near the Centerville road and was wondering if it was a school or Church. Let me know if you have any information on it. Also any history of this area would be appreciated. Thanks

    • It was a church. It belongs to Douglas Taylor and he can provide more information on its history. I will ask him to view and reply to your comment.
